Ponorogo’s predicate as part of the Indonesian Creative City Network ignites the spirit of various creative communities to be active in enlivening the corners of Ponorogo City.
Awareness of the use of city corners as creative spaces will certainly have a positive impact on the progress of Ponorogo City as a cultural tourism city. Collaboration between media partners, officials, sponsors and communities will prove that the UNESCO Creative City Network predicate is indeed worthy of being given to Ponorogo Regency.

This spontaneous movement will certainly give birth to “local heroes” to network with each other, express themselves and fill the creative spaces spread across the corners of Ponorogo City.
In the “Call the Local Heroes” movement on Saturday, (18/01/2025) there were several communities that participated in enlivening creative spaces in the city of Ponorogo, including:
1. SIKAT drum community at the Warok Statue on HOS Cokroaminoto Street
2. Nayaka Muda Angklung Art from SMK 2 Muhammadiyah at Ngepos Park
3. Setiaris Art Space, LPK Neutral, Dewi Kunti Batik & Shibori on the sidewalk of Gajah Mada Street. *Man
