Ponorogo Regency Government Officially Launches 2025 Calendar of Events

The 2025 Reog City Calendar of Events was officially launched by the Ponorogo Regency Government through the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, Monday (06/01/2025).

The launching of this tourism sector event was carried out directly by the Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko. It was recorded that there were 75 activities covering Religious, Arts, Culture and Sports activities that would be held from January to December this year. Where 10 of the activities are the Top 10 Events including, 10 Ponorogo Calendar Events including Haul Kyai Agung Muhammad Besari, Ponorogo Creative Festival #3, XXI Youth Reog Festival, XXX Ponorogo National Reog Festival, Kirab Pusaka and Lintas Sejarah.

In addition, Larungan Telaga Ngebel, Grebeg Tutup Suro, Ponorogo Anniversary Commemoration, Pajak Extravaganza and Bumi Reog Berzikir.

“There is also a Ramadhan Market, Kirab 1,000 Torches and so on,” said Ponorogo Regent, Sugiri Sancoko.

Sugiri revealed that this year there are several new events included in the Ponorogo Calendar of Events. Among them, Bumi Reog Berdzikir (BRB) starting this year will become an annual tourism event. Because the event pioneered by PSHT has proven to be able to attract public interest and has an impact on the economic turnover of small Bussines quite high.
