The Klepu Village Government and residents are committed to making Klepu Village a tourist village with natural beauty, local cultural wisdom, diversity and tolerance between religious communities for Indonesian tourism.
Tourists will get a different experience when visiting the Klepu Jayandaru Tourism Village. Not only can you enjoy the beauty of the mountains and the rural atmosphere, but the tour packages offered will bring tourists to mingle with local residents and at the same time go on a religious tour.
The Head of Klepu Village, Andreas Gimin, revealed that when visiting Klepu Village, tourists not only enjoy natural tourism but also get a religious experience.
“Whoever comes here will not only find happiness and enjoy the beauty of nature, but when they follow the package at Klepu Jayandaru it will be a journey of revelation,” said Gimin.
He added that, the journey to obtain this revelation must go through a process, namely the “sambang ndeso” tour package which has been prepared by the management of the Klepu Jayandaru Tourism Village and will end at “Sasana Hasta Brata”, Hasta means eight and Brata means behavior or self-control.
“The contemplation process will end at Sasana Hasta Brata. It is hoped that tourists will gain the 8 qualities of self-control and peace of mind. this is what is called revelation. “If you return from Klepu and have not received a revelation, then the process must be repeated from the beginning until you receive a revelation,” he added.
Oki Widyanarko, Head of the Destination and Tourism Industry Division, Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports (Disbudparpora) Ponorogo Regency appreciates and supports the progress of the Tourism Village in Klepu Village, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency.
“It’s extraordinary that the launch of the Klepu Jayandaru Tourism Village can become a pioneer of tourist villages in Ponorogo,” concluded Oky.
