The Ponorogo Regency Government continues to develop regional potential, one of which is tourism. This time, hundreds of representatives of the young village generation within the Pemuda Hebat forum were given training and provision related to utilizing the digital world, to promote or introduce various regional potentials to the outside world.
“There are 281 representatives from villages who are members of Pemuda Hebat, given training ranging from good social media, to producing or creating interesting content,” said the Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko.
Sugiri further added that those who took part in this training were youth representatives at the village level who were selected to receive training about the digital world.
“They will be able to promote everything from tourism potential, Small Business, to various activities carried out in the village,” he explained.
Head of Youth Sports Division, Department of Culture, Tourism and Youth Sports (Disbudparpora), Wakhid Purwanto, explained that this training and provision activity actually started in 2022.
“This activity actually started in 2022, then in 2023 and will continue again in 2024,” he explained.
Previously, according to Wakhid, for 2023, the focus was on the arts and culture sector. Where theoretical training has been carried out some time ago.
