Dr. Harjono Ponorogo Hospital Prepares to Become a Tourism Hospital

The Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko, was also present at the joint leisure walk, which was attended by all medical personnel and employees, as well as the supervisory board, which was held in the grounds of Dr Hardjono Hospital, Saturday (11/11/2023).

Director of RSUD Dr Harjono Ponorogo Dr Yunus Mahatma said, entering its 106th year, RSDH will transform into a tourism hospital in Indonesia. This step is to implement health services that are often provided by hospitals in Europe and Johor, Malaysia.

“The newest hospital management is a tourism hospital. So here too the facilities will protect patients and families, the most beautiful hospital, and the largest ER in East Java,” he said.

Mahatma admitted that to create a Tourism Hospital RSDH, his party had made a number of efforts, apart from building an integrated ER with an area of up to 2,000 square meters, a cardiac catheterization service (cath lab) which would soon be inaugurated, ESWL for kidney stone surgery, and BPH without surgery.

“The RSDH hospital was appointed by the East Java Provincial Health Office for West Java as a referral hospital for treating resistant TB patients. We have prepared a building at the back,” he said.

Meanwhile, Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko admitted that he was proud of RSDH’s current achievements and services. This is clear evidence that RSDH is starting to transform into a hospital that refers to foreign service standards, namely friendly, comfortable and polite.

“I thank you very much. I salute that the hospital is now so good. Every day you have to spread kindness, keep smiling. So the hospital is really comfortable here. So that sick people can go home and recover,” he concluded. Adv/Man
