Reog bulan purnama performance stage in Ponorogo was held again on Saturday on the main stage of Aloon-Aloon Ponorogo. (07/10/2023)
This time the performance was staged by Reog Singo Mudo from Jenangan sub-district. Apart from Reog art, this performance also included dance art from four communities, including Kinandi Putri Dance Studio, Granggang Suh Dance Studio, Probo Wengker Arts Kitchen and Ma’arif 1 Ponorogo Middle School.
According to Mardji, Cultural Affairs Staff at the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports, Ponorogo Regency, every year the Reog performance on a full moon night always experiences an increase in the quality of the performance.
The Full Moon Reog performance is regularly held by the Ponorogo Disbudparpora, apart from being entertainment for the community, it is also a place for artists to express their creativity. This is done so that reog art continues to be a culture that continues to be preserved, especially among young people.
