Regent of Ponorogo Open Paragliding in 2023, which is a continuation of the Java Paragliding League Series 3, was opened by the Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism, Youth and Sports (Disbudparpora) Ponorogo, Judha Slamet Sarwo Edi, as well as the Working Team for Destination and Infrastructure Development of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, chaired by Parlan, Friday ( 10/20/2023).
Not only does it present a competition between the skills of dozens of Indonesian athletes while floating in the air. Regent of Ponorogo Open Paragliding in 2023, also attended by dozens of UMKM stands.
It was recorded that 20 UMKM stands were prepared by the committee, along the Taman Pelangi rest area, Biting Village, Badegan District. This UMKM bazaar itself was attended by local UMKM players from Biting village and Badegan subdistrict, who wanted to promote and sell their superior products in the East Java Paragliding League Series 3 event.
Chairman of the Regent of Ponorogo Open Paragliding, Ribut Riyanto, said that the UMKM Bazaar was spearheaded by the local committee of Biting Village. This activity aims to promote the local products of these UMKM players.
“Moreover, the participants in this paragliding event come from various cities in Indonesia. This is the momentum to market UMKM products in order to increase their market reach,” he said.
Ribut hopes that this activity can have a positive impact on UMKMs. And improve their economy and expand market networks.
