Small and medium business bazaar Anniversary of Ponorogo, Trade Turnover Increases in Millions of Rupiah

Commemoration of the 527th Anniversary of Ponorogo Regency, has a positive impact on the community’s economy. it was proven, during the two days of the people’s market, the peak of the anniversary commemoration in Aloon-Aloon Ponorogo, dozens of MSMEs that took part in this event claimed to have made millions of rupiah in profits.

One of the clothes sellers in the Aloon-Aloon Ponorogo area, Sutrisno (44) said, during the two days of the UMKM bazaar which was held by the Ponorogo Regency Government (Pemkab) to welcome the NOAH concert, he received a profit of up to IDR 1 million.

“It’s very busy. Thank God, I got IDR 1 million now,” he said, Wednesday (16/08/2023).

Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Cooperative Trade and Micro Enterprises Service (Disperdagkum) Rengga Dwi Heri Irawan said the UMKM bazaar was held to improve the economy of UMKM players as they celebrate Ponorogo’s anniversary this year.

“From August 14, we have used this area to facilitate UMKM actors to sell their products there. Alhamdulillah, the response from visitors has been very enthusiastic,” he said.

Rengga said that in this UMKM bazaar there were at least 21 UMKM and 50 street vendors. Where the average profit reaches IDR 500 thousand per night.

“The average total transactions of UMKM players who trade there reach millions in two days,” he concluded. Adv/Man
