The Ponorogo Tourism, Youth and Sports Culture Office (Disbudparpora) has prepared a large Dragon boat, which can be used by tourists to go around the lake to enjoy the beauty of the Wilis mountain pine forest.
As a complement to the current water facilities, the Dragon Boat with a capacity of up to 20 passengers was specially brought in from Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java.
Head of Disbudparpora Ponorogo Judha Slamet Sarwo Edi said the dragon boat had been brought in since last Friday (23/06/2023). Currently, to introduce this facility, his party is giving a promo by making it free since 3 days ago.
“We are giving a promo, free boarding. At the same time we are testing the condition of this boat when it hits the waves with a full passenger position. It turns out to be quite calm,” he said, Tuesday (27/06/2023).
Judha added, since its arrival this boat has attracted quite a lot of tourists. Many Ngebel visitors are vying to get on board this dragon boat.
“Enthusiastic enough, even earlier when I asked tourists from Madiun they were quite happy and calm to be able to ride this dragon boat,” he said.

For the operation of the Ngebel Lake Water Fountain, during this holiday his party provides special services to Ngebel Lake tourists by complying with the wishes of tourists.
“So what’s the song, what’s the water like, when will it be operational, we all follow the wishes of tourists. We can be ready in the morning, afternoon and evening. There are no limits,” he said.
He hopes that this holiday season will provide significant income for PAD.
“I predict more than IDR 50 million PAD income from entrance tickets. Hopefully it will come true,” he concluded. Adv/Man
