Thousands of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) students broke the MURI record with the most participant categories in the performance of Ceria Merah Putih PAUD Children’s songs.
The event was held in the Ponorogo square, where the children were seen wearing red and white clothes together.
“The Ceria Merah Putih PAUD Children’s title and song event aims to implement a pleasant PAUD to SD transition period. It can facilitate children to be creative, critical and innovative,” said the Regent of Ponorogo, Sugiri Sancoko.
Getting tens of thousands of PAUD children is not easy. Moreover, they came from 21 sub-districts in Ponorogo Regency.
“Thanks to the hard work of the Education Office, Himpaudi, IGTKI and PGRI, everything went well. All the parents of my students also took part,” he explained.
MURI representative Sri Widawati said she was grateful to be back in Ponorogo. This is not the first MURI record-breaking on earth reog.
“This mass gymnastics is an annual agenda and is always marked by the recording of a muri record. This time, there were 17,892 participants,” he said.
One of the participants, Gea, admitted that he had been waiting since morning. The representative from the Kindergarten in Pulung District admitted that it was hot but still fun.
