The Regent of Ponorogo officially opened the KH Ageng Muhammad Besari Commemoration

Ponorogo Regent Sugiri Sancoko officially opened the Tegalsari Commemoration marked by the beating of a drum which was witnessed by the congregation present at the Jami’ Tegalsari Mosque complex, Jetis, Ponorogo, Wednesday (31/05/2023).

The opening of the 276th Haul of Kyai Ageng Muhammad Besari as well as the Haul of Kyai Khotib Anom & Kyai Nur Shodiq Al-Hafidz began with the dzikir maulidurrosul SAW assembly and ended with a recitation with KH. Abdul Wahid from Magetan.

The Haul commemoration will be held for 7 days from 29 May to 4 June 2023. The Committee Chair explained that a series of events had been carried out including Manggulan which was held at the Baiturrohman Mosque in Tegalsari (29/05/2023), Manaqib Kubro by KH Imam Suyono (30/05 /2023),

“Yesterday evening a mammgulan was carried out at the Setono Mosque as the forerunner of the KH Muhammad Besari Pondok, which was the Donopuro Simbah Pondok at that time,” he said.

Next, Simaan Al-Qur’an will be held at mosques & prayer rooms throughout Tegalsari as well as Tahlil and Ambengan (01/06/2023), Pildacil Contest (02/06/2023), Banjari Festival Contest (03/06/2023), Kirab The culture as well as the highlight of the 276th Haul KH Ageng Muhamaad Besari commemoration will be held by a General Recitation which will be attended by Habib Muhammad Luthfi bin Yahya from Pekalongan and KH. Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman (Gus Miftah) from Yogyakarta (04/06/2023).

Meanwhile, Kang Regent Sugiri Sancoko in his remarks said that the 276th Haul Tegalsari could be carried out again after a vacuum due to last year’s Covid pandemic, with the success of the Haul it is hoped that it can bring Islamic civilization and make Ponorogo Regency a ‘baldatun thoyyibatun wa robbun ghofur’ or a country that always in goodness and forgiven by God. “Grateful for the cooperation of all parties, Tegalsari is again holding the 276th Haul of KH Ageng Muhammad Besari.
