
Ngebel lake, not only presents the beauty of the lake with its cool air. Various local fruits can be found around the lake area, ranging from Durian, mangosteen to avocado.
There is a unique culinary product of the creativity of business actors who process durian fruit with different dishes. Ketan Durian, a sticky rice dish topped with local durian in a lakeside atmosphere, makes the perfect combination when visiting with family.
Glutinous rice, a traditional food that is usually only used as a complement to the traditional ceremony, can now be found at the Ngebel sticky rice post, which is located on the east side of the Ngebel lake.
In the hands of Hadi Santoso, sticky rice was served with various flavors ranging from durian sticky rice, bananas, jackfruit, cheese and dozens of other menus.
Armed with being an assistant chef in Singapore for 2 years, he wanted to make a menu that did not yet exist at Ngebel Lake.
“Initially, I used to be able to cook or process food, while working in Singapore,” said Hadi.
“I want to bring out uncula by making the impression of old school sticky rice into a modern and classy food,” he explained.

Many visitors come because they are curious about the taste and delicacy of this typical sticky rice.
“At first I was just curious, the taste of sticky rice mixed in or the taste of durian fruit,” said one visitor, Miftania.
Apart from the distinctive taste, according to Miftania, for the price it is relatively cheap, enjoy one serving of durian sticky rice.
“The price is relatively affordable. Starting from IDR 10,000,” he concluded. Different unique culinary delights will attract many culinary enthusiasts, especially at Ngebel Lake, the fruit of farmers around the lake is abundant throughout the year. Adv/Ptr
