Provision of Great Youth in visually comparing village potential

Efforts continue to be made to introduce the potential of Villages in Ponorogo. One of them is by empowering the younger generation in Ponorogo Regency.

Thousands of young people who are members of the Great Youth network receive digital marketing training to help market the potential of existing villages, both MSME products and existing tourism.

This can be seen in the village branding design seminar, which was held in the Mahesa Hotel meeting room, Friday (10/03/2023).

A number of speakers were attended in this activity. Among other things, branding consultant and logo designer Joko Dwi, and Chairman of the Maesa Group Damar Arianto.

The head of the youth and sports division of the Disbudparpora, Suwanto hopes that the holding of this event will be able to bring progress in the sectors of development, economy, moral development through his creations to answer the challenges of the global world.

“The aim of the Great Youth program is the Ponorogo Regency Government’s efforts to prepare youth who are creative, innovative and solutive, and able to provide solutions to the problems around them,” he said.

Meanwhile, Toni Sumartono as Head of the PMD Service in his remarks said that youth development needs to build a well-coordinated unit of thought and action.

“Not only culture, other tourism must be promoted by all elements of the Ayu Bagyo community, especially through this Great Youth,” he explained.

It is hoped that with the participation of Great Youth, it will be able to encourage productivity and build social institutional capacity, in increasing the welfare and socio-economic independence of the community. adv/man
