Khofifah admitted that the support from the Provincial Government was not without reason, apart from being on the tourist route. The existence of the Reog Ponorogo Monument will have a positive impact on improving the economy of the Ponorogo people, especially in Sampung District.

“This is very good because it is close to Sarangan Lake tourism, and Tawangmangu. So the tourism market is very good. Especially if it’s been so many creative economy actors appear here. Some sell Reog knick-knacks, food, and even have tour guides too. Tour agencies will also live,” he said.
